Governor: All Preparations for Jakarta E-Prix are Going Well

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, together with Formula E Co-Founder Alberto Longo and Jakarta E-Prix Organizing Committee Chairman Ahmad Sahroni, visited the Jakarta E-Prix circuit ahead of the 3-day international electric car racing event.

On that occasion, the Governor ensured that the preparations carried out by the organizers went well, smoothly, and completely.

Besides that, he was impressed with the public's interest considering ticket sales were also running smoothly and successfully.
"There will be 22,000 people who will be in this circuit area," he explained.
He appreciated all parties, from the Jakarta E-Prix Organizing Committee, PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), and the Formula E party in London for their full support.
"Thank you Mr. Sahroni who has worked hard to make this event smooth, including Jakpro. Then, beside me, Mr. Alberto Longo from Formula E in London came here to see all the preparations. There was also an international team that came and prepared everything," he explained.
Formula Co-Founder Alberto Longo, who witnessed the completion of all preparations ahead of the Jakarta E-Prix event, said he was impressed. He even said that it would be the biggest and most successful event in Formula E history.
“We finally got here, because we know the challenges. We are proud and honored that the E-Prix can be held in Jakarta. Today we are witnessing colossal work to prepare everything,” he admitted.
